BE CAREFUL FOR WHAT YOU PRAY FOR

People don’t know what they are asking for when they pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
When they pray, ‘melt me, mould me, fill me, use me’, do they really understand what they have just asked for? Then they wonder why everything in their world has turned upside down and inside out.
When we speak about the world we mean the cosmos or systems that govern the world. This world has its own fashions or ways of doing things. It has its own principles. It has its own wisdom and it has its own course with its own seasons and times.
There is a time limit on this world and we are heading right on course with God’s timetable. When Jesus cast the legion out of the man they said ‘have you come to torture us before the time’.
This world’s system is not going to get any better. You cannot change the system but you can change the hearts of people under the system and bring them into a new system.
Whenever the Philistines captured the ‘Ark’ and placed it in their temple beside their god Dagon, the next morning Dagon was found lying face down so they put him upright again. The next morning his head and his hands had been severed and the people were inflicted with tumours. So what does this say to us and what does it mean?
Whenever the presence of God comes on the scene, then worldly systems; kingdoms; fashions and principles will collapse and tumble and there will be more and more chaos, because He comes to bring Divine Order.
There has been an outpouring of the Holy Spirit these past 40 years and there has to be a casting down of the systems that are established to prepare for the return of Jesus.
If this world does not bow the knee now, it will be forced to bow its knee when Jesus returns. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken; and only that which has its foundations built and founded on rock will be left standing.

We are seeing financial systems being shaken, we are seeing political systems being shaken, and we are seeing the natural world being shaken. So let’s once again take heed to what Jesus said in Matthew 24

When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"Jesus answered them, "Beware that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah!’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars; see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places; all this is but the beginning of the birth pangs. "Then they will hand you over to be tortured and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. Then many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because of the increase of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come.
If ever we needed a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit it is now, so be prepared for all your props to collapse around you.; Be prepared for rejection and being alienated; be prepared for the shadow of the cross to cover you and be prepared for His power working within you which can do more that you could ever imagine and be prepared for the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
